Neosorb P grades are a range of crystalline sorbitol powders in the gamma stable form. These polyol have excellent tableting properties readily forming hard tablets. Neosorb powders have high chemical stability and do not undergo reducing or discolouration reactions with amino groups. They have a cool taste with pleasant mouth-feel and are used for non-cariogenic, non-acidogenic and sugar-free formulations, in different types of tablets, as well as in sachets and dry syrups.
