SOLUPHOR® P
2-Pyrrolidone, Distilled Soluphor P is available as a solidified excipient which is soluble in water and a number of organic solvents, e.g. ethanol, isopropyl alcohol and aromatic hydrocarbons. The solutions of Soluphor P in water of up to 50% have a viscosity of not more than 4 mPa.s, lending it useful in injectable formulations.
