Kolliphor HS 15 (earlier known as Solutol HS 15) is a nonionic solubilizer and emulsifying agent obtained by reacting 15 moles of ethylene oxide with 1 mole of 12hydroxy stearic acid. It is soluble in water, ethanol and 2propanol to form clear solutions. Its solubility in water decreases with increasing temperature and it is insoluble in liquid paraffin.

This product has high chemical stability and toxicology tests have shown that this product is extremely well tolerated. Kolliphor HS 15 meets the requirements of a potent, modern, low toxicity solubilizer.
