AQUALON ® ETHYL CELLULOSE

Ethyl Cellulose USP/NF, EP, JP

Ethyl cellulose is a non-ionic ethyl ether of cellulose containing not less than 44 % and not more than 51% of ethoxy groups, calculated on dried basis. They are soluble in a wide range of organic solvents. When water-soluble binders cannot be used, ethyl cellulose is often the polymer of choice. They are classified into a range of polymer viscosities for different applications.
