Copolyvidone USP/NF, EP, JP

Kollidon VA 64 is a vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer that is soluble both in water and in alcohol. It is used as a dry binder in tabletting, as a granulating auxiliary and as a film-forming agent. Kollidon VA 64 Fine is new grade promising to improve dry binding capacity due to its plasticity, small particle size, high porosity and spherical shape. It allows increased mechanical stability of pharmaceutical tablets by increasing the tensile strength of the tablet cores.
