Magnesium Aluminum Silicate USP/NF

Magnabrite product line is a blend of highly refined, naturally occurring, complex colloidal white smectite clays. They are unique thixotropic additives for emulsion stabilizing, suspending, binding, gelling, bodying and disintegrating.

 
 
GRADE
 DESCRIPTION APPLICATION
Magnabrite HV High Viscosity grade Exhibits excellent emulsification and thickening abilities in suspensions. Delivers high viscosity at low solids.
Magnabrite K Acid Stable grade Used to reduce thickening and flocculation in acidic pH levels of pharmaceutical acid suspensions.
Magnabrite S Standard grade Used when medium viscosity, high brightness and ease of dispersion in pharmaceutical suspensions are desired.
Magnabrite F Micro fine particle size grade Used as an inert low-bulk disintegrant, excellent for large tablets where the active are the major weight and bulk of the tablet.
Magnabrite HS High Stability grade Hydrates readily in warm or cold water producing high electrolyte stability
